| The cleavage directions can be recognized by the smooth, flat surfaces. Note the skewed rectangular-like form of this mineral. There are three directions of cleavage exhibiting 60° or 120° angles between directions. Think of a deck of cards in which the upper corner has been pushed slightly toward the middle of the deck. |
