Invocation by Dr. Mark Laufersweiler

Please bow your heads and let us give thanks according to our personal convictions, keeping in mind the celebration that bring us here tonight in community and let us give thanks:

Let us give thanks for our families, parents, grandparents and siblings, who are here tonight to share in our achievements, and whose love and support helped guide us to this day.

Let us give thanks to the faculty and staff, who challenged us, allowing us to achieve

more than we thought possible of ourselves.

Let us give thanks to our fellow students, whose friendship and support have helped make our lives richer and whose diversity opens a door to a world bigger than us.

May we be guided with strength and humility of heart as we move forward from this day. May we continue to learn and make better ourselves and the World that we live.

For all this we are truly grateful.
